Design Essentials Express is a streamlined, expedited version of our Design Essentials service, created for clients who are ready to move quickly and make decisions with confidence. This service follows a structured four week timeline, allowing us to deliver a complete, build ready design package in half the time of our standard process.
While the timeline is condensed, the experience remains the same. Layout planning, cabinetry design, finish and fixture selections, and full documentation are all handled by our in house team with the same level of care and attention to detail.

Our Design Essentials Project Process
We love collaborating with CLIENTS to bring clarity, creativity, and efficiency to every project.
Conceptual design review
During the first week, our team develops your initial design direction, including layout options, space planning, and overall design intent. A detailed presentation is delivered to your inbox, allowing you to review the proposed layouts and visual direction on your own time and provide feedback before we move into final selections.
1| Week One

In week two, we present the fully developed design, including finalized cabinetry layouts, finish and fixture selections, lighting, and key details. This meeting is focused on reviewing everything together to ensure the design feels cohesive, functional, and aligned so we can confidently move forward.

revisions
Following the Detailed Design meeting, we complete one round of revisions based on your feedback. This phase allows us to refine the design and make final adjustments while maintaining a streamlined process to keep the project on schedule. Additional revisions are available for an extra fee.
final documentation & sample box
In the final week, all approved designs are compiled into a complete, build ready package, including detailed plans, elevations, and a comprehensive Selections Board with links to products. A curated sample box is also provided so you can review key materials and finishes in your space before moving into construction.

Important Notes
This is an expedited service and requires a high level of client responsiveness to maintain the timeline. A complete measurement scan of the space is required prior to the start of the project.
Because of the condensed schedule, review timelines and revision windows are fixed and must be adhered to in order to complete the project within four weeks.
Budgets
To deliver the level of design our projects are known for, we work within at least a mid-range investment level for finishes and fixtures. This allows us to specify materials and products that feel cohesive, perform well, and support the overall design intent.
We do not design to a fixed overall budget or assign allowances per item. Instead, selections are made based on what best supports the design intent. If adjustments are needed, clients are welcome to substitute items during the purchasing phase to better align with their investment preferences.
Communication
Ordering
Upon completion of the design, we provide direct product links for all specified items so clients or contractors can handle ordering with ease. This allows for flexibility while ensuring all selections align with the overall design intent.
If preferred, our firm can source cabinetry through our trusted brands and manage the ordering process for an additional fee. This service provides added support, coordination, and consistency throughout the project.

After the Design Fee payment we will send you our Onboarding document that includes a questionnaire, Pinterest board collaboration, and instruction on fulfilling the measurement scan. From there, we create a tailored design plan—complete with vision boards, samples, 3D renderings, and detailed specifications—to ensure your space feels uniquely yours.
4. Do you work MY CONTRACTOR DIRECTLY?
We create all the design documentation your contractor will need. While we don’t manage the build process under this service, we do use our documentation to relay all design details.
5. What is the difference between Full-Service Design and Design Essentials?
Full-Service Design is ideal for whole-home projects, renovations, or new builds where we manage everything from design to installation. Design Essentials is a streamlined service perfect for kitchen or bathroom transformations for clients who need expert guidance without full project management.
6. How LONG DOES THE DESIGN ESSENTIALS Express PROCESS TAKE?
This service is slotted for 4 weeks with specific milestones each week. It is imparative that clients are quick to respond and quick to provide feedback!
